IFFCO Phulpur intends to install some energy saving methods


Fertilizer co-operative giant Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) Phulpur planned to take some some energy saving steps in its ammonia-urea complex Phulpur in Uttar Pradesh. The company disclosed recently that it will install an additional purge gas recovery unit and a new air pre-heater in primary reforming section at its ammonia plant. Along with this some other methods too are in pipeline to increase the operational efficiency of the complex.

India's largest farmer cooperative IFFCO also have plans to install a gas turbine along with a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) to generate additional power in Phulpur.

IFFCO is a cooperative of the farmers, by the farmers and for the farmers.  IFFCO has five fertilizer manufacturing plants at Kalol, Phulpur, Aonla, Kandla and Paradeep.
